Women’s Clothing
The Look: The look is more refined with emphasis on detailing. In office wear, the trend is androgynous. In casual dressing, a lot prints with different colour combination will be visible.
Fabrics: Lightweight fabrics like polyster blends, light materials like chiffon, light-weight wool, masculine-feminine material.
Colours: The hues are concentrated on one colour palette – soft with a range of skin tones, coral, camel, pink-brown. In greys, the shades in vogue are pearl grey, bluish grey. Blake and white will remain the classic colour combination. Metallic finish in gold, silver and steel effect will be big.
Prints: Subtle and mixed with overlap-ping colours. Also dark colour combinations will be a rege.
Men’s Clothing
The Look: The over-all look is traditional, with a few innovations.
Fabrics: Lightweight materials, woolen blends with a white, elegant look. The look is more refined than what it was in the past, even if it’s casual wear. Herring bones and pin stripes will be popular.
Colours: Grey, brown, blue and black.
Prints: More than prints , it is sophisticated colour combinations that make the mark. A hint of lace work on shirts adds a detailing touch. The metallic effect on jackets will work well.
The Global Market
(Especially North America, Europe and Japan)
Fabrics: A lot more wool and the European market will witness the use of more luxurious fabrics like cashmere blend and soft materials.
Colours: The palette will essentially be soft with grey, camel, brown and blue being the dominating hues.
