Nothing like a spicy fried food on a rainy day, right?no, stay away from it!
This is the time when your digestive system is at an all time low. And best way to stay in right healthy is to keep a check on your diet…
- Stay away from deep fried food which is difficult to digest.
- Stay away from leafy veggies. Lack of sunlight makes the greens perfect breeding ground for germs. If you carefully look at leafs you may see some eggs and larvae.
- Avoid veggies with roughage. Stick to easily digestible ones such as ghiya, tinda, moth, moong dal and channa dal.
- Include karela , and herbs like methi (fenugreek) and haldi (turmeric) as they prevent infection.
- Small amount of ghee or oil must be included in your diet.as it acts as a lubricant inside your intestine, cleans the bowel and helps in digestion.
- Avoid consuming diary foods such as paneer and raita etc which have not been made at home. They could contain germs and increase your chances of getting an infection.
